I want to remove the right sidebar.

But when i do so (commenting out like this: <?php //echo $this->left_bar; ?> ), the footer jumps to the place of the right sidebar.

How can I force the footer to stay on its rightfull place at the bottom of the screen?

ok this can be a pain in the rear I had to edit the hell out of the css file and some other stuff I believe to fully remove it also if you are looking to make the center section bigger to fill the space out you WILL have to edit the images to reflect the stretch. you can just remove all the offending code from the right side .tpl file but then you have a giant gap the right side. and also every time a new version of ans comes out you will have to redo the template if the admin edited any file that you did.
