Google Indexing wrong urls

Google Indexing wrong urls

Postby ravikum » Wed May 26, 2010 12:58 am

Hello,
I have noticed that google is indexing some urls that are not good according to seo.
When I searched for
site:http://softwarebest.com
it shows many links like this :
http://softwarebest.com/web-development/100?mode=aj

with ?mode=aj at the end.

what are those links ?
how to redirect them to proper seo friendly url like
softwarebest.com/web-development/100

(Since the script is encrypted, we have become completely dependent on the Admin to solve every simple problem!)

Thanks.

Hi, that particular link is used for ajax results from the pagination. the link is enclosed in a javascript call and should not be being indexed. turn off ajax from the advanced settings if this is causing problems for you.
