Currently home page configuration is set to amazon product, asin, node and ebay. I dont want to set this home configuration and instead i would like to show the custom data (not related to amazon or ebay) which is gathered from different sources. How to customize the home page?

Tried by creating category-home.tpl, but it is showing error as the Home page configuration is not setup.

just setup the homepage options to use amazon asin, put in a valid asin and use category-home.tpl without displaying the results.

I don't understand.

I did as you said.


I have copied category.tpl to category-home.tpl
I have put a valid ASIN to be displayed on the homepage (using the admin backend)
I have then commented out the left bar like this:

But still my homepage looks exactly the same.


Every change I do to the homepage doesn't change anything.

sorry my fault!

rename category-home.tpl to product-home.tpl

you would only use category-home.tpl if you had select node or multiple ASINs.
