The ANS script produces a l-o-t of files for its caching system, which is a major problem with the hosting servers.
Most of the hosting servers allow up to 50,000 files per hosting account, then they start disabling it.
I use the cleaning cron job but still I get to about 50k of caching files per ANS site.
HostGator allows 250k of files, unfortunately i had 7 ANS stores on my account and found out I had 300k of files (INodes as they describe it).
Did anyone else encounter a problem like this?
Can the ANS upgrader (DMitry?) use a different caching system that doesn't use so many files? Maybe have them as several big files? Maybe cache only the important information?
Thanks,
Chaiavi
