Would it be possible to have a simpler search page? I'd like the ability to set one searchindex or node to be searched, along with some filter keywords, so that when a user searches, instead of seeing 30 categories with the same item listed every time, they would just see a like of 40 or so items.

I can agree with this the search dosnt work right always and just showing all products would be better than one from each category. also I have noticed when you search for something in all some times the item is there but dosnt show up, but if you select a category to search it will work.

Yes this sounds good.

What I can do is make the "All" option configurable to give you option of using the current default behaviour or to choose a search index, node & keyword filter to search with. Then I guess an option to show/hide certain categories as search options would be useful to if you have lots of categories
