Correct Error Document

Hi

When I type in a page in my ANS Site that doesn't exist, I always get the Information:

"The value you specified for SearchIndex is invalid. Valid values include [ 'All','Apparel','Automotive','Baby','Beauty','Blended','Books','Classical','DVD','Electronics','ForeignBooks','Grocery','HealthPersonalCare','HomeGarden','HomeImprovement','Jewelry','Kitchen','Lighting','Magazines','MP3Downloads','Music','MusicalInstruments','MusicTracks','OfficeProducts','OutdoorLiving','Outlet','PCHardware','Photo','Shoes','Software','SoftwareVideoGames','SportingGoods','Tools','Toys','VHS','Video','VideoGames','Watches' ]."

But the URL of the Site stays the same.

What i would like to have is a SEO friendy 404 Page instead of creating hundred of pages with the same useless content.

I created a 404 page and redirected with htaccess (ErrorDocument 404 /error404.php) to the Error page i created. Unfortunately it didn't work and I still get the same pages. Which means it doesn't redirects my to my 404 page.

Is there any workaround for this problem. Or/and can you pleas implement this for the next version.

Best regards

You are wrong in describing the problem.

The error you got happens only when you try to access a page in your site which has a wrong SearchIndex

Try going to a non existing page of your site by using the follwoing:
http://yourdomain.com/type-here-a-name- ... sting-page (just swap "yourdomain.com" with your actual domain name.

In my site it gets to the home page which is cool.

But when I do the same from a category, for example:
http://mydomain.com/categoryname/type-h ... sting-page

It gets to a BAD PAGE:
Array ( [c] => Running/type-here-a-name-of-a-non-existing-page ) Page not found

DMITRY - this one should be fixed...
